Dues fund operations and support Library projects. The Friends of the Seaside Library is an all-volunteer organization that promotes the Library to the community, provides funds for materials and projects that the Library cannot afford, and hosts or supports special events that help the Library serve the community. A quarterly newsletter is sent out to all members.
The Friends is a tax-exempt, non-profit corporation under both California Non-profit Public Benefit Corporation Law and the Internal Revenue Code, Section 501 (C) (3).
